John W. Eilers began his career in 1967. He has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning and administration, probate and trust law, including probate litigation. Mr. Eilers also represents tax exempt organizations.

Mr. Eilers has served on the Board of Governors of the Ohio State Bar Association Probate Section and is a fellow of the Ohio State Bar Foundation and the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He is a published author and renowned lecturer.

Mr. Eilers has been certified as a specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law.

Mr. Eilers was voted as one of Ohio's Super Lawyers in 2004 through 2009 by the publishers of Law and Politics magazine, and listed in Best Lawyers in America since its inception in 1991.

Among his exempt organization work Mr. Eilers was founding general counsel for the Ault Park Advisory Counsel and recently reorganized the National Voice of America Museum of Broadcasting. Recognizing his work with the Voluntary Lawyers Project, he received the Cincinnati Bar Association Volunteer Lawyer Award of the year 2007.

His activities in the Cincinnati Bar Association include Past Chairman of the Probate Law Committee and Trust, Wills and Estate Planning Committee, a Member of the Ethics Committee and Proctor of Ethics Continuing Legal Education Video Seminars. *

He has been Fleet Captain and Commodore of the Cowan Lake Sailing Association and is currently teaching two of his eleven grandchildren to sail. He is serving his second term as a Certified Club Race Officer and is Race Committee Chairman of the Ohio Valley Sailing Association.
