Jan M. Frankel began the practice of law in 1978, after clerking for two years in the Hamilton County Ohio Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Frankel practices in the areas of probate, estate planning, law for the elderly, family law, and domestic relations.

Ms. Frankel is active in the Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Section of the Ohio State Bar Association, and is an emeritus member of its Board of Governers. She is the past chair of Wood & Lamping's Estates and Trusts Practice Group, and has previously served as a Board Member of the American Jewish Committee, The Hillel Foundation of the University of Cincinnati and Rockdale Temple. Ms. Frankel is currently active on the Planned Giving and Development Committee of the Cincinnati Zoo, and is a board member of Cedar Village, a health care and retirement community.

Ms. Frankel was named as a Super Lawyer by the publication Law and Politics in 2006 and 2007.
