Daniel Smith is an associate at Wood & Lamping. Mr. Smith practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and domestic relations. He joined the firm in April 2009. Prior to joining Wood & Lamping, Mr. Smith clerked for Justice Ron Parraguirre of the Nevada Supreme Court in Carson City, Nevada. In that role, he played an instrumental part in helping Nevada’s highest court manage and resolve appeals in civil, regulatory, and criminal matters. Dan is a 2005 graduate of the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was a published member of the Law Review. Dan attended UC on an Urban Morgan Fellowship and served on the editorial board of Human Rights Quarterly. As a Morgan Fellow, he interned at INTERIGHTS, a London-based human rights organization committed to, among other things, educating judicial officers in emerging democracies. Dan is a third generation Cincinnatian and lives in Oakley with his fiancé, Megan. He attended Moeller High School and the University of Dayton. He is a lifelong fan of the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. Dan is an avid traveler and enjoys running, hiking, sailing, and playing the guitar. |
