Kenneth J. Schneider

Ken Schneider has counseled individuals, businesses, and municipalities in a diverse range of practice areas for over forty years.  Ken’s practice encompasses estate planning, trusts and wills, land use, zoning, and eminent domain, real estate matters, and personal injury negotiation and litigation.  Ken also has a wealth of municipal law experience.  He has served as Law Director for the Cities of Mason and Springdale in Ohio and Sycamore Township.  Ken was recently named Executive Legal Counsel for the City of Mason.

Ken is a member of the Cincinnati, Ohio State, and American Bar Associations.  He served on the Executive Committee, as Chairman of the Judicial Selection Committee, and as a member of the Grievance Committee for the CBA.  He spent over 20 years in the House of Delegates of the Ohio State Bar Association, is a past State of Ohio Chairman for the International Municipal Attorneys Association, and served as Delegate to Legal NetLink International Alliance of Independent Law Firms. He has served on a bank Board of Directors as Chairman and General Counsel, and as Chairman of the Board of Governors of Cincinnati Banker’s Club.  Ken also served in elected public office as a School Board Member, elected Council Member at Large, and City Solicitor.  Ken served as the chairman of the Charter Committee for the City of Montgomery, leading that community in establishing a charter form of government. In 2014, Ken was appointed to the Moeller High School Board of Trustees.

 

In 2012, Ken was honored at the Cincinnati Bar Association Senior Counselors’ luncheon and  recognized with a special resolution by the Mason City Council for his decades of service to Mason as its Law Director.  Prior to entering the practice of law, Ken worked for Procter & Gamble as a brand manager.

Ken lives in Montgomery with his wife, Janet.  They have three daughters and nine grandchildren, all of whom live in Montgomery.   He also has served the community as a District Chairman for United Appeal, has served on the board of the Blue Ash YMCA, and is active in the All Saints Parish, having served as President of the Parish Council and Chairman of the School Fund Drive.
