Edward D. Bender is a partner at Wood & Lamping. Ed practices primarily in the areas of estate planning, taxation and estate & trust administration. The estate planning area commonly includes planning for business owners, and Ed counsels them on their succession planning issues as well as their general corporate matters.


Paul R. Berninger has an extensive practice in all areas of employment and labor law, with particular emphasis on negotiating collective bargaining agreements and labor contract arbitration. He also represents several major school districts as well as counties and local governmental bodies on labor related matters.


Mr. Breed is a partner at Wood & Lamping LLP and chairs the Trusts and Estate Practice Group. He has been assisting clients with all aspects of Estate Planning and Probate Law for more than twenty-five years.


Dr. Rayan Felix Coutinho practices in the firm's Business & Corporate Law Group and the Zoning & Public Sector Law Group. Rayan's practice focuses on intellectual property and technology law for individuals, businesses and governmental clients, such as municipalities and townships.


Susan Cliffel's practice is focused in creditor rights and business litigation with an emphasis on bankruptcy and collections. She represents financial institutions in litigation under the United States Bankruptcy Code, Uniform Commercial Code, and Commercial Finance Code, including Articles 2A, 3, 4, and 9.


Gary J. Davis began with Wood & Lamping after spending two years in the Tax Department with the national accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Davis' clientele consists of many closely held corporations and businesses.


Mr. Dorsey is a graduate of Georgetown University and Catholic University Law School. While in law school, he clerked for John Fanning, Chairman of the National Labor Relations Board.


John W. Eilers began his career in 1967. He has extensive experience in the areas of estate planning and administration, probate and trust law, including probate litigation. Mr. Eilers also represents tax exempt organizations.


Anne Barry Flottman practices exclusively in family law, including all domestic relations matters as well as custody-related matters in juvenile court.


Jeffrey D. Forbes is a partner in the Firm's Government and Land Use Practice Group. He joined Wood & Lamping LLP as an associate in 2001 after working as a law clerk while still attending law school.


Kevin Frank is a senior associate in the Firm’s Litigation Practice Group. Kevin joined Wood & Lamping in 2004 after starting his career in his home state of California where his practice focused on land use and eminent domain.


Jan M. Frankel began the practice of law in 1978, after clerking for two years in the Hamilton County Ohio Court of Common Pleas. Ms. Frankel practices in the areas of probate, estate planning, law for the elderly, family law, and domestic relations.


James B. Harrison joined the firm in 1983. Since that time, he has developed a substantial practice with emphasis in the areas of general business, corporations, business strategy and business acquisitions.


Elizabeth Horwitz utilizes her creative problem solving and analytical skills in all areas of her business and real estate practice, including general business, federal and state securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, venture capital financing, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, real estate transactions and land use planning, zoning, subdivision and annexation matters.


Mr. Korbee is a civil trial lawyer whose litigation experience includes labor and employment cases, employee benefit matters, personal injury and medical negligence.


Lisa deHart Lehner is a partner in the Firm’s Business Practice Group, Immigration Group and Estates and Trusts Practice Group. Lisa joined the firm in 2001 as a partner. Lisa’s practice respects the connectedness of many related practice areas.


Robert P. Malloy joined Wood & Lamping in 1974. He attended law school after completing four years in the U.S. Air Force as a Communications Electronics Officer.


Lev K. Martyniuk is a partner in the Firm’s Business, Corporate, Tax and Healthcare Practice Groups. He joined Wood & Lamping LLP in July 2009.


Joel F. McGuire is a Partner in the Firm's Litigation Group. He began his career as a civil litigation attorney in 2001 after graduating from Northwestern University School of Law. Joel is admitted to practice in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, and his practice areas include commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation, international litigation, transportation litigation, banking litigation, and condominium law. Joel has repeatedly been named one of Ohio’s Super Lawyer Rising Stars by the publishers of Law & Politics magazine.


Michael J. Menninger graduated from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University in the spring of 2006, where he was actively involved with the Moot Court Board, serving on the Executive Committee.


Henry E. Menninger, Jr. serves as the chair of the Bankruptcy and Debtor/Creditor Rights Practice Area at Wood & Lamping.


Roccina S. Niehaus is a member of the Firm’s Real Estate Department having begun the practice of law in 1981 as a general civil practitioner. Since 1985, she has practiced in the title insurance industry, specializing in residential and commercial real estate law.


Wednesday Oster joined Wood & Lamping in late 2004 as an associate after serving as a law clerk for the firm. She graduated cum laude from Transylvania University majoring in Psychology.


Raymond J. Pikna, Jr. joined Wood & Lamping LLP in the summer of 2004. Mr. Pikna has over 25 years of legal experience and began his career as a law clerk for the Honorable D.J. Kelleher, Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of Ohio, when the Bankruptcy Code first became effective.


Lisa M. Rammes began practicing with Wood & Lamping, LLP in 1996. Ms. Rammes' practice is concentrated in the corporate and business areas where she has extensive experience counseling closely held businesses on issues related to formation, funding, operations, mergers, acquisitions and dissolutions.


Mark S. Reckman has practiced law at Wood & Lamping since 1979. He has served as the head of the Real Estate and Probate Departments. He also has served as the Managing Partner.


Howard Richshafer joined Wood & Lamping early in 2008. He has practiced law for over 28 years. Also, he’s a licensed Ohio Certified Public Accountant. He has a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Cincinnati. He obtained his Juris Doctorate degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 1975.


C.J. Schmidt III began his practice with Wood & Lamping in 1989. He was formerly Labor Law Counsel for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Washington, D.C. While in Washington he earned a Masters of Labor Law Degree from Georgetown University.


Kenneth J. Schneider is a partner in the Firm pursuing a General Practice including Estate Planning, Trusts and Wills, Land Use and Zoning, Real Estate matters and Personal Injury claims.


Robert M. M. Shaffer joined the firm in January of 2011 as a partner in the Firm’s Business and Corporate Practice Group. Mr. Shaffer's practice attends to the varying business and legal interests of his clients who include businesses, business owners and investors (be they institutional, individual, family, minority or controlling), and members of executive management and boards of directors.


Daniel Smith is an associate at Wood & Lamping. Mr. Smith practices primarily in the areas of commercial litigation, labor and employment law, and domestic relations. He joined the firm in April 2009.


Dale A. Stalf is a Partner in the Firm’s Cincinnati office and is a member of its Litigation Practice Group. He focuses his practice on the prosecution and defense of business disputes through litigation in state and federal courts and administrative agencies and through the use of alternative dispute resolution techniques.


Arthur D. Weber, Jr. has an extensive practice in Real Estate, Banking, Business and Estate Planning. He has a great deal of experience in the representation of lenders in commercial and residential transactions and is very familiar with the operations of commercial and community banks and has served as an officer and director of two financial institutions. In addition, Mr. Weber advises buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and contractors in real estate transactions.


Since beginning the practice of law in 1974, Douglas L. Westendorf has spent his career specializing in securities and corporate law. He has been directly involved in many major mergers, acquisitions and securities offerings both in private practice and as in-house counsel to a large publicly held corporation.


Thomas M. Woebkenberg has been with Wood & Lamping since 1986. His practice primarily consists of commercial real estate transactions representing lenders of all sizes throughout Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
