Elizabeth Horwitz utilizes her creative problem solving and analytical skills in all areas of her business and real estate practice, including general business, federal and state securities matters, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, venture capital financing, non-disclosure and non-compete agreements, real estate transactions and land use planning, zoning, subdivision and annexation matters. Elizabeth works with business of all sizes and types, from start-up companies to publicly traded corporations, and including professional service companies, manufacturing companies, banks, information technology companies and real estate developers.
Elizabeth is active in the community. She serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. She also serves on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Greater Cincinnati, Inc., a non-profit organization that assists academically capable and motivated children-in-need. Elizabeth is also active in bar association committees, the former Chair of the Business Law Section of the Kentucky Bar Association (2004-2005) and the former Chair of the Corporate and Securities Law Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association (1994-95). In 2005, Women's Business Cincinnati named Elizabeth as one of the top ten women attorneys in Cincinnati. The publishers of Law and Politics magazine named Elizabeth one of Ohio's Super Lawyers' in the areas of Business and Corporate in 2006 and 2007. |
