Joel F. McGuire began his career as a civil litigation attorney in 2001. Joel has extensive experience at all stages of litigation, having served as first chair in numerous jury trials, bench trials, and arbitrations, and having conducted appellate oral argument before Ohio's appellate courts. Joel is admitted to practice in Ohio, and his practice areas include commercial litigation, labor and employment litigation, international litigation, transportation litigation, banking litigation, and condominium law.
Joel has organized and lectured at Cincinnati CLE seminars on Spoliation of Evidence & Document Retention Policies, FDCPA Compliance for Ohio Practitioners, and Ohio Condominium law. Joel has earned the professional litigation certification of "Advocate" by the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). In the November 2007 election, Joel was elected the Mayor of Harrison, Ohio.
