The lawyers in Wood & Lamping’s health care practice group are highly skilled in providing creative legal, regulatory and business solutions to clients including hospitals, physician practice groups, home health service providers, long-term care and senior living facilities, and a host of other health care provider entities. Of particular note is our team’s role as outside general counsel for The Lindner Center of HOPE (LCOH), a comprehensive, state-of-the-science mental and behavioral health center, which will open in August 2008. Selected legal services provided to LCOH to date have included: counsel on all issues relating to corporate formation and governance; assistance with employment and human resources issues; development of medical staff bylaws, credentialing and peer review processes, a corrective action plan, and all supporting medical staff policies and procedures; assistance in developing a corporate compliance program; counsel on issues relating to licensure, certification and accreditation; development of a facility-wide risk management program; health care contracting matters; and serving as compliance counsel for state and federal regulatory issues.
